Aeverine Nieves Encyclopedia Dramatica Dispute
COLD CASE as of August 5, 2008
Dispute began August 4, 2007
Angela and I are still continuing to devote time and available resources to negotiations with Encyclopedia Dramatica with the hopes of reaching a fair resolution.
Earlier this year, Angela and I received a tip from a source on MySpace concerning the negotiation with Encyclopedia Dramatica. It turns out I had sold something to the founder of MySpace back in 2002. The case is once again gone cold.
So as of today, I am personally offering a NO SIR GIFTS Franchise* to the person whose tip that leads to having the Encyclopedia Dramatica dispute resolution.
*NO SIR GIFTS Franchises outside of Indiana will be known as NO SIR GIFTS of Indiana. For example, a NO SIR GIFTS franchise in Racine, WI is known as NO SIR GIFTS of Indiana-Racine, a NO SIR GIFTS franchise in Brandon, FL is known as NO SIR GIFTS of Indiana-Tampa Bay Brandon.

By way of an update, we are continuing to devote tremendous time and resources to our negotiations with Encycloopedia Dramatica, with the hopes of reaching a fair resolution.
I assure you we are working days, nights and weekends and our efforts are focused on securing a fair resolution
We will continue to negotiate with Encyclopedia Dramatica. Unfortunately, we do not know if, or when, we will reach an agreement.
November 25, 2008
Encyclopedia Dramatica and Aeverine Nieves has failed to reach a deal.
Please know that we have tried for the past year and a half to reach a favorable agreement, so that things would be back to normal.
I know that we are disappointed in the outcome of our negotiations with Encyclopedia Dramatica, especially since we have successfully reached deals with every other web site and partners who recognize our fair agreement.
We will continue to negotiate with Encyclopedia Dramatica. Unfortunately, we do not know if, or when, we will reach an agreement.
I thank you for your tremendous support throughout this dispute. I have received hundreds of emails from WTOR/WXXC viewers and as well as other sources who understand my position and are willing to stand by our side.
We hope you will continue supporting yours truly throughout this time, and continue working with yours truly.
Aeverine Nieves
Aeverine has been pulled from the web site Encyclopedia Dramatica.
November 11, 2008Encyclopedia Dramatica, a satrical web site, has pulled the privlige to allow Aeverine to contribute to their web site, after resfusing to grant her the right to repair her own article.
"I have offered numerous opportunities since the dispute began in August 2007 to reach a favorable resolution that would bring the dispute to an end," Nieves said. "They did not care for the GLBT community, in their preference to remove me from their site rather than work towards a resolution."Nieves continued, "Despite progress and just as I was about to come to a compromise, Encyclopedia Dramatia took the extreme step of banning me from their site. I had asked for a fair resolution to bring the dispute to an end, but it was Encyclopedia Dramatica's preference to pull yours truly off the site."
Without the express permission and written consent from yours truly, Encyclopedia Dramatica can post defaming images of yours truly by other users on the site. In exchange for that permission, Encyclopedia Dramatica is demanding that yours truly stop living as a woman--that will not happen, as well as other outrageous demands.
I will keep negotating with Encyclopedia Dramatica and will work to get this resolved real soon.
